3. Research Ethics Digest

PRIM&R’s Research Ethics Digest (RED) is a member benefit that delivers timely and relevant abstracts and full-text articles from a wide array of scholarly journals to PRIM&R members every other month.  Each issue includes articles highlighting new research and scholarship related to ethics and regulation of both human subjects research and animal care and use; discussion guides, with thought-provoking questions focused on selected animal care and use or human research protections articles; and the RED Self-Study Program, with online quizzes that offer credit which can be applied toward recertification of your Certified IRB Professional (CIP®) credential, Certified Professional in IACUC Administration (CPIA®) credential recertification, or other professional credentials.

Our June 2021 issue included articles on data sharing in COVID-19 trials, human-animal chimera research, direct benefit in pediatric trials and its challenges, ethics review of big data research, strengthening workplace well-being in research animal facilities, and more.
