Research Project: Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Human Subjects Research

We are Associate Compliance Analysts for the human research protection program (HRPP) at the University of Toledo, in Toledo, OH, conducting a research project titled “Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Human Subjects Research.” Through this project, we hope to gain insight regarding procedural changes that were implemented by HRPPs and IRBs throughout the United States in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and identify practices and procedures that were found to be most effective and efficient during a national emergency. We invite researchers, research compliance staff, and IRB members to participate!  

To be eligible for this research you must be either a researcher who conducts research with human subjects, research compliance staff person who is involved in overseeing research with human subjects, or an IRB member who reviews human subjects research applications.
