The 2023 PRIM&R Conference (PRIMR23) and the 2023 SBER Conference (SBER23) are fast approaching! We are thrilled to reconnect with everyone in Washington, DC this December 3-6, marking our first in-person annual conference since 2019.
In anticipation of the conferences, we reached out to a range of people within our PRIM&R community, inviting them to share what they are looking forward to at PRIMR23 and SBER23. Take a moment to listen to the remarks and insights from some of our conference speakers and explore the sessions they will be presenting.
Robert Nobles, DrPH, MPH, who serves as the Vice President for Research Administration at Emory University, said, “I’m looking forward to seeing you! I’m looking forward to the excitement in DC, the energy that’s going to be brought forward at our conference and in the numerous, numerous networking opportunities which you will find yourself engulfed in.”
Tonya Ferraro, the Senior IRB QI Consultant at Boston Children’s Hospital and a Bioethics Fellow Alum from Harvard Medical School, said, “I love that the conference is an opportunity to share ideas, learn from each other and create connections. I’ve been fortunate to have met friends and mentors during past conferences and I think that speaks to the generosity of our community.”
Cecilia Brooke Cholka, PhD, CIP, the Human Research QA & Education Manager, at Weill Cornell Medicine, said, “I’m looking forward to the SBER23 Conference because I love that we focus on SBER. I’m also looking forward to the crossover content at the PRIMR23 Conference because I’m really excited to explore this idea of how we’re similar even in the different work that we do.”
