Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R) is committed to promoting dialogue and sharing knowledge about issues relevant to research ethics and oversight, in pursuit of our mission to advance the highest ethical standards in the practice of research with human subjects and animals.

PRIM&R’s blog, Ampersand, was launched in fall 2008. It serves as an outlet for diverse perspectives and a source of information and commentary for the research ethics and oversight community. Through timely, thoughtful pieces on issues relevant to human subjects protections and animal care and use, Ampersand invites respectful conversation and debate, creates community, and provides resources for professionals in these fields.
